Gordon-Levitt Up For Django Unchained
He's in talks for Tarantino's latestAs if he didn't already have an embarrassment of acting riches in the cast for the exploito-rama Western-fuelled Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino seems intent on adding one more good actor to the team, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in talks.Variety reports that Gordon-Levitt apparently sat down over dinner with the director to talk about a possible, unspecified role in the movie, and has now moved on to negotiations about signing on. He's apparently dedicated to finding time, but first he'll have to figure out some scheduling issues.Django, which already features the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Don Johnson and Kurt Russell, is set to start shooting in New Orleans this coming January. It'll mark yet another respected director ticked off Gordon-Levitt's list, with him having recently worked with Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg (he's filming Lincoln now) and Rian Johnson. In related news, one of his other latest gigs, David Koepp's bike messenger thriller Premium Rush, has just had its release date shifted from January in the US (February over here) to an August release date in the States, which will likely mean it'll be here in late August/early September now...
